The sun has fallen into my eyes and fire is eating my skin. The flames are burning me into ashes. And, I know you care about the scars I hide underneath my soul. You can watch me die as our world falls apart, but I know that my voice is all you hear when she calls your name. She is the shadow of me and I am the whole picture. She is the reflection of love and I am the mirror. You can see yourself, don't you? You can see the sun, don't you?

That sun is burning my eyes to water and salt and I know that she is the one holding your hand but your heart is beating against mine. She might be the one walking beside you but I am the gravity that keeps you grounded to your feet. She might be your other half But, my dear, I am your whole. You can deny it all you want but we are tied to the sun; I am just burning under your eyes and your burning under hers.
