The idea of salvation is as crucial as seeking shade in a wintry day! Who needs it; when humanity is capable of producing politicians and hypocrites!
The sound of lies is in the shape of soundbites and public announcements. In this era, lies are televised, publicized, dramatized!
We seek these fiends because we are a country of fools!
We are our own demise; we look at their faces and we believe them not because they are right, but because their lies are bigger than our realities. And, we are too weak to understand that behind their mouths there is a deafening ado about nothing. We are too naive to comprehend that “history doesn’t repeat itself but it often rhymes.” Everything is connected to power and we desire power! We thrive to capture it, to sense it and to live it. We willed the power of lust from within us to indulge in power. Man is a vice of nature! A sinner of greed and pride.
We are a country of fools!
We embrace the bastards’ words as holy and we seek their blessings with our heads down and with our eyes glued to the ground. The only thing we can see is their muddied and bloodied feet! Misery and agony up to our knees! We are drowning but we cannot feel it with their hands around our necks and their words inside our heads!
We demand freedom when our souls are caged in booths and ballots. We seek justice when our actions are chained to paper and bread. However, we have to do what we have to do to survive the tide. We have to stand our grounds and let the course of nature unfold. The narrative of our lives depends on the way we carry our thoughts and principles. Everything depends on the way we perceive life. The prevalence of justice and the freedom of the humankind is built upon the skeletons of our collective sacrifices and aspirations. To reach this “state of inherent nature” where humans and nature are one; free, independent, diverse and just; we have to remain vigilant! protecting our rights and upholding our duty to shield our integrity and equity.
Now the question is;
Shall we vainly cast away our voices in this country of fools?
Tolkien once said, “You can only come to the morning through the shadows.”
